Cuvée William Deutz 2008 - Maison Deutz
Champagne, Cuvee William Deutz, half-bottle, vintage 2008, Maison Deutz
It's in 1838, in the town of Ay near Epernay, that two wine sellers team up. These two partners, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, start to buy vines and decide to work following 2 main principles: French expertise and German precision. Their passion for wine would be the glue holding everything together and they would both make history.
Nowadays, this never-ending quest for excellence is still the driving force behind the Maison Deutz, which has become famous worldwide. In spite of this newfound fame, the current president Fabrice Rosset still sees the company as a big family. Their goal has always remained the same: to make the best products for their many clients (80% of their champagnes are First Growth).
