Petrus became a legend, this mythical wine is sought worldwide. The winery is named Petrus thanks to Petrus plot located in the Pomerol appellation. You should know that the wines of Pomerol have never been classified, but Petrus is still considered one of the greatest Bordeaux, as well as the great wines of the Medoc.
The vineyard of 11.5 hectares is situated atop the plateau of Pomerol, it extends on soils particularly old black clay basement dross of iron. The planting is mainly composed of merlot and the average age of the vines is 40 years. The annual production is about 35,000 bottles.

  • Wine

The dress of Petrus 1990 is dark red, intense and united. The nose of this wine is clean, intense and fruity. It is a mature wine, with hints of smoke. On the palate the wine is fresh and fruity, its structure is very oily and tannic. The finish is very long and evokes a grape ripening almost rushed.
