• Presentation of winery

Petrus became a legend, this mythical wine is sought worldwide. The winery is named Petrus thanks to Petrus plot located in the Pomerol appellation. You should know that the wines of Pomerol have never been classified, but Petrus is still considered one of the greatest Bordeaux, as well as the great wines of the Medoc.
The vineyard of 11.5 hectares is situated atop the plateau of Pomerol, it extends on soils particularly old black clay basement dross of iron. The planting is mainly composed of merlot and the average age of the vines is 40 years. The annual production is about 35,000 bottles.

• Wine

The year 2000 was a stunning year, the wines from this vintage are very great wines. Petrus 2000, is a unique and extremely rare wine. Dress this wine is black with purple highlights. The nose is very intense, with notes of underbrush, black truffles, sour cherry, licorice and blackberry. On the palate, this wine has volume, it has a really creamy texture with tannins controlled.
