Le Clos Rougeard, a 10-hectare estate in the Saumur and Saumur-Champigny appellations (between Tours and Angers), belongs to the Foucault Brothers. Jean-Louis and Bernard Foucault have been precursors, growing their vines according to organic farming rules since the 1970's.
The domain produces a white wine, Le Brézé, and three red wines: Le Clos (assembling grapes from two parcels), Les Poyeux (2.9 hectares) and Le Bourg (production below 4000 bottles).
