The name of the winery comes from the property Manoir de Gay. Greloud family divided the area in the mid of 19th century, due to a succession in Château Lafleur and Château Le Gay. It’s Catherine Péré-Vergé, who bought the estate in 2002. The vineyard of 10.5 hectares is located on the plateau of Pomerol adjacent to Petrus and Lafleur. The vineyard lies on gravelly soil clay and limestone. The vineyard is 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc.
