- Presentation of the winery
Domaine Georges Roumier is a family winery for three generations working very prestigious appellations of Burgundy, as Musigny, Bonnes Mares, Chambolle Musigny "Romantic" Charmes Chambertin, Chambertin Ruchottes, Corton Charlemagne ...
- Wine
Jean-Marie Roumier bought the Musigny Grand Cru plot in 1978. This wine has become since then one of the most wanted wines from Domaine Georges Roumier.
Musigny 2013 is an exceptional and extremely rare wine, as only 375 bottles were available for this vintage. Climatic conditions in 2013 made it delicate to produce, but with exceptional results, combining a masterful balance to a certain grace. It has a black color, with shades of purple and red. On the nose, the wine is very aromatic, spicy with notes of dark berries. This wine has a beautiful minerality and can be described as less austere than other vintages.
