- Presentation of the winery
The 16 hectares vineyards are located on the Pomerol plateau between Pétrus and Cheval Blanc, on various soil clays mixed with dirt ferric clayey and clayey gravelly silicas. The vineyard is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Since 1990, the estate produces a second wine « Blason de l’Evangile ».
- Wine
The dress of Château Evangile 2010 is dark color, black with purple reflections. The nose is dense, persistent, and expressive with notes of raspberry, black cherry, wild strawberry. In mouth, the wine is precise, straight, and slender. The attack is beautiful and powerful, with a great concentration of tannins racy. This 2010 vintage has a very good aging potential.
