The Meursault terroir, from father to son
The Bouzereau family has been living in the little village of Meursault, at the heart of the Burgundy vineyard, for seven generations. At first, Michel was the only one (brilliantly) managing the entire family estate, but he then decided to work with his son, Jean-Baptiste, in 1999. The latter learned everything from his father and they’re still both in charge of the 10.5 hectares of vineyard.
They produce many different wines, reds and whites, and they do so with a deep respect towards nature. For Michel and Jean-Baptiste, the best wine comes from the finest grapes. That's why father and son cultivate their grapevines without using any chemicals, and why they also chose hand picking. As a result, their wines are deep, strong, and can age gracefully.
