Fine organic Burgundy wines
Sylvain Loichet founded his wine estate in 2005 after having finished his studies in Beaune and inherited 3.5 hectares of vineyards that his grandparents planted in 1984. He immediately set out to unveil the richness of the many Burgundian terroirs. Over the years, he gradually expanded his vineyard to reach a total of 8 hectares, spread across iconic villages in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits (Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Chorey-les-Beaune, Vougeot...) Prioritizing certified organic agriculture, Loichet is committed to preserving the ecosystem in which he operates, emphasizing environmentally-friendly practices.
In pursuit of excellence, this wine enthusiast also created a trading company to diversify his range of wines, focusing on the purchase of renowned appellations in the Côte d'Or. His approach involves establishing long-term partnerships with local winemakers, ensuring the quality of grapes and adherence to environmental standards. Sylvain's philosophy, grounded in natural treatments, serves as an eco-friendly alternative to conventional agriculture, aiming to preserve the soil's health while producing premium wines.
The hand-picked grapes reflect this quest for perfection, with gentle pressing for white wines and tightly controlled maceration for red wines. Using specific oak barrels based on appellations, he creates unique and authentic wines meant for aging. Throughout this process, Sylvain maintains strict standards, demonstrating that organic agriculture can deliver both quantity and quality while safeguarding the planet and consumer health.
