Meursault Les Narvaux 2005 - Domaine d'Auvenay
- Presentation of the winery
In the 1990s, famous Lalou Bize-Leroy, CEO of the house Leroy, shareholder of Romanée-Conti, bought the Auvenay winery, which includes two grands crus in Côte de Nuits and some beautiful plots in large white terroirs of Côte de Beaune. This area of 4 hectares apply the same techniques of cultivation and vinification that area Leroy. The vines are biodynamic and cover many names, from aligoté to grand cru Chevalier Montrachet. We find in these bottles the style that made the reputation of the great Burgundies. Few people have the chance to taste the production of this property of Côte d’Or, as the global demand is high and the prices very expensive.
- Wine
Meursault les Narvaux 2005 has a yellow color. The nose of this wine is very nice, elegant, with notes of fresh fruit, woody. We discover aromas of chalk, jasmine, ginger, pear, lemon, truffle and toasted bread. On the palate this wine has an elegant attack, ample and smooth, with hints of lemon. A fine wine, but powerful.
