Petrus became a legend, this mythical wine is sought worldwide. The winery is named Petrus thanks to Petrus plot located in the Pomerol appellation. You should know that the wines of Pomerol have never been classified, but Petrus is still considered one of the greatest Bordeaux, as well as the great wines of the Medoc.
The vineyard of 11.5 hectares is situated atop the plateau of Pomerol, it extends on soils particularly old black clay basement dross of iron. The planting is mainly composed of merlot and the average age of the vines is 40 years. The annual production is about 35,000 bottles.

This very seductive wine is characterized by an intense black dress. On the nose, this wine is very complex and opulent, you can feel the aromas of red fruits. On the palate, this wine offers a first concentration, intense minerality and aromas of black fruit pies, or aromas of sweet spices such as chocolate appear.
