Jean-François Coche-Dury is one of the greatest winemakers of white wine in the world. In 1972, he took over the estate from his father and bought plots over time. Currently the area is 10.5 hectares, the largest proportion 8.5 ha is planted with Chardonnay and Aligoté remains.
