Very Old Rum
Patayu is one of the many rum brands imported to France after the First World War of 1914-1918, when the liquor's price was at the lowest it had ever been. The Établissement Pierre Bos, distiller and liquorist in Millau (in the French department of Aveyron) established in 1869 and specialized in syrups, liquors and other spirits. Bos was the only authorized seller of the Patayu brand. The bottle labels were designed by the Wetterwald Brothers (founded in 1815), a printing company based in Bordeaux.
