The wunderkind of Meursault!

Son of wine grower Vincent Girardin and proud member of the 13th generation of his winemaking family, Pierre-Vincent was practically born in a Burgundy winery. When he was 15, he chose to uphold the tradition and become a winemaker himself, learning the trade in his father's 2 hectares vineyard. A wise decision in retrospect, since Pierre Girardin is now the owner of an eponymous estate in Meursault (Côte de Beaune).

He was only 19 when he released his first wine cuvée: the 2017. And at the time, it already sold quite well. Pierre-Vincent Girardin might be young, but he showed that he was already well-versed in some of the most effective winemaking techniques. Thanks to his passion for traveling and his love for discovering the best wines around, he gradually managed to hone his skills and acquired a lot of experience along the way.

The ambitious winemaker wants to let the Burgundy terroir express itself, more than anything. To that end, he's decided to expand his estate in the next two years (from 4.5 to 10 hectares in total) and plant some new famous appellations he's recently managed to get his hands on. He also plans to entirely switch to organic wine making in the next five years, in his never-ending quest to always let the vineyard come first.
