Confidentiality and discretion are the key words for Clos la Neore wines.

Located in Chavignol (Loire), Domaine Edmond and Anne Vatan produce Clos la Neore, the most confidential of Sancerre wines. Indeed, only about 4000 bottles are produced each year, from the one hectare plot exploited by Edmond's daughter, Anne Vatan-Foucault (she's the wife of Nadi Foucault, from Clos Rougeard), since 2008.

The plot is ideally located in the Monts Damnés (damned Mounts in English), facing South, on a clay-limestone soil, rich in shells, giving the wine a very mineral salinity.

These wines are richly flavoured, herbaceous, floral and fruity notes on chalky accents... Tasting it is a real privilege, as they are so rare and high quality.
