Natural wine from Baden

Two German winemakers, Sven Enderle and Florian Moll, became partners in 2007. Having previously worked for other winemakers, the two men quickly decide to move away from modern methods. They acquire a few neglected grapevines (because of low yields) and set upon resurrecting them completely. In doing so, they wanted to show the world all the specificities of the Baden terroir in their wines.

Sven and Florian prefer to use biodynamic methods, but they're not certified. Grapes are picked by hand and crushed by hand, like many generations have done before. On their corks you can see their motto "Rien sans peine" (French for "No pain, no gain"), which sums up their state of mind perfectly. A good wine demands hard work and sacrifices.

Yields are obviously low, which seems strange in a region where many wine houses are located (like the famous Münchweier-Wallburg-Schmieheim WG, with its 110 winegrowers). But Sven and Florian won't let that undermine them and keep on working. Their 100% natural wines are proof of their love towards their vines, their terroir and their consumers.
