- Presentation of the winery
Château Angelus was created by the Boüard de Laforest family, who owned the Château Mazerat. At the place of the plot, wineries could hear the ringing of the Angelus of three nearby churches: Mazerat Chapel, Church of Saint-Martin-de-Mazerat and Saint-Émilion Chapel. The winery has grown from the 20s to 70s, it is now nearly 23.4 ha in one piece. The plots are located on the foothills of the southern coast, the soil is mostly clay and limestone in the upper part is where the Merlot and the sandy bottom where the Cabernet Franc.

Château Angelus 2010 has an intense red color. On the nose this wine reveals notes of black fruits, identified by notes of mocha. On the palate, this wine is intense with a beautiful structure, it is very stylish with an animal character.
