Côtes de Provence Rosé 2024 - Miraval
Tasting notes for the Miraval Rosé 2024 - Château Miraval
APPEARANCE: A pale pink hue with silvery highlights, clear and radiant – typical of the finest rosés from Provence. The slightly lighter shade this year reflects a vintage with well-preserved acidity.
NOSE: The nose opens with an intense floral bouquet combining hibiscus and amaryllis, accompanied by luscious notes of vineyard peach and a hint of citrus. A fresh and elegant aromatic expression, signature of the Miraval terroir.
PALATE: The attack is generous and silky, with a fleshy texture and vibrant freshness. Crisp fruit flavors are supported by natural acidity and a saline, chalky minerality that characterizes the estate’s soil. The finish is long, delicately silky, and irresistibly fresh.
In Summary: Miraval Rosé 2024 embodies the elegance and complexity of top-tier Provençal rosés. From a vintage marked by challenging weather conditions, it offers a dense yet fresh aromatic profile with beautiful natural acidity. Serve well chilled (8–10°C); it pairs beautifully with light summer dishes such as salads, grilled fish, or seafood. It also makes a delightful aperitif, alongside tapenade or guacamole toasts. Enjoy now or cellar until 2027.

Provence rosé, as told by Brad Pitt
The famous Château Miraval and its 30 hectares vineyard can be found in the Var department (in the French Provence region), and more precisely in the small village of Correns. Built during the 17th century, the building has been the home of many famous people, like Thomas Aquinas, Joseph-Louis Lambot or Jacques Loussier. In 2011, the castle was bought by soon to be married Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Later on, they decided to produce their very own celebrity rosé wines.
The famous Miraval, a.k.a. Wine Spectator's "World's Best Rosé 2013", is the result of two well-known families working together: the Perrins and the Pitts. This incredible collaboration between the glamour of Hollywood and the craftsmanship of the Rhône Valley gave us the Miraval Rosé. A very pale rosé wine, with intense flower aromas and a delicious cherry and strawberry taste.
