Domaine Hubert Lamy

Incredible Saint-Aubin wines

The Hubert Lamy vineyard is located in the town of Saint-Aubin, in the Burgundy region. The Lamy family has been involved in winemaking for several generations, as they have been growing vines and taking care of their vineyard since the year 1640. Hubert Lamy created his own wine estate in 1973, which now extends over more than 18 hectares of land.

Initially, the Domaine Hubert Lamy mainly produced white wines from the Saint-Aubin appellation, but over the years, the family acquired new plots in neighboring appellations such as Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru. The domain now produces red wines as well as white wines (around 75% of the production comes from Chardonnay grapes, the rest is from Pinot Noir). Hubert Lamy constantly strives to improve the quality of his wines by adopting sustainable viticultural practices and using modern winemaking techniques.

In 1995, Olivier Lamy joined his father at his Côte de Beaune estate and brought with him a slew of new ideas to continue this quality-based approach that allows the terroir to fully express itself (which actually became the hallmark of the estate). Today, the Domaine Hubert Lamy is considered to be one of the best producers of white wines in Burgundy, with wines renowned for their smoothness, elegance, and ability to age gracefully. The domain is currently run by Olivier Lamy, who continues to work in the respect of family traditions.
