Dominique Lafon, the great grandson of the Count Jules Lafon who was a renowned winemaker too, first started working full-time at the family domaine (in 1986) before creating his own company in 2007. The latter bears his name and manages 4 hectares of vines in the Cote de Beaune. Dominique Lafon is also a consultant for two American vineyards in Oregon.
Thanks to his new company and his great grandfather's domaine, Dominique Lafon can produce 7000 bottles of wines per year, reds and wines, for a total of 16 cultivated hectares.
