The Libournais vineyard is wedged between the Dordogne and Gironde departments. It's not really a single vineyard, but rather a cluster made of 5 smaller ones, with their own specificities: Saint-Emilion, Castillon, Fronsac, Pomerol and Côtes de Francs. The soil is composed of clay, sand and gravel.
This vineyard mainly produces wines from grape varieties like Merlot and Cabernet. Most of them are coming from world renowned estates, such as Château Pétrus, Château l'Evangile or Château Angélus.
