Grand Cru Burgundy Wines
Discover the finest Burgundy wines
The Burgundy vineyard is a piece of History, with roots dating back to the Middle-Ages. It may only represent 3% (30 000 hectares of vines) of the entire French vineyards, but the Burgundy region is strong of its hundred of appellations of origin (from many different zones, like the Cote de Nuits, the Cote de Beaune, the Maconnais…) and its impressive richness of terroirs: more than 600 climates coexist there. These climates (actually small parcels of vineyards) are on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
The grapes of this vineyard grow in clay and limestone soils. They are mainly white grapes (Sauvignon, Chardonnay…), with a few red ones (Pinot Noir, Gamay…) The annual output of Burgundy wine can reach 1,5 million of liters.
