Next to the Burgundy region, the Bordeaux region is one of the greatest jewels of the French wine industry, because it manages the impossible: to combine quality and quantity of grand crus wine. This humongous vineyard is located in the South-West of France, in the department of Gironde, and stretches over 120,000 hectares. It can produce up to 6 millions of hectolitres of wine per year.

There's a majority of red grapes (Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon…) here but also some white ones (Semillon, Sauvignon…), rosés and others. More than 50 appellations are born from these grapes. This is a clear sign of the incredible wealth of the terroir, thanks to its soils rich in clay, limestone, sand or gravel. Here, you will only find the best vintages from Bordeaux: legendary Médocs from the 1855 Classification, exceptional Grands Crus, highly sought-after Second Growth Bordeaux wines, as well as renown Premiers Grands Crus from the 1995 Saint-Émilion Classification...
